Police are investigating a fatal fall from a parking garage near the Wendy’s on 14th and Q streets, according to Lincoln Police Department Capt. Duane Winkler.
As of 5:44 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 30, the deceased person was said to be a woman in her 50s, according to a LPD duty commander.
Winkler said LPD doesn’t know if the deceased person is affiliated with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
An investigation around the cause of the fall is ongoing. Winkler said LPD does not believe there is a threat to the public at this time.
