1. Nebraska


(21-0, 8-0)


The Cornhuskers only trail No. 1 Connecticut in scoring margin this season by 23.6 points a game. That number could go up for No. 3 NU this week with games against Kansas and Missouri.



2. Texas


(16-6, 5-3)


The Longhorns jumped to No. 14 in the Associated Press rankings with an 18-point win on the road against Oklahoma last week. Texas should pick up two more road victories this week when they head to Colorado and Kansas.


3. Iowa State


(18-4, 6-3)


Defense has been the strong point for the No. 20 Cyclones this season. ISU gave up a combined 87 points in victories over Texas Tech and Missouri last week.


4. Oklahoma


(16-6, 6-3)


The No. 12 Sooners followed up their first home loss against Texas on Wednesday with an impressive 11-point victory on the road against Oklahoma State.


5. Baylor


(17-5, 4-4)


The Lady Bears are back on track after a loss at Missouri in January. No. 11 BU will be tested this week, though, with games at Oklahoma and Iowa State.


6. Oklahoma State


(18-5, 6-3)


The Cowgirls are falling fast. After defeating Texas A&M in College Station, No. 15 OSU was blown out by Nebraska and lost at home against Oklahoma.


7. Texas A&M


(16-5, 4-4)


The No. 13 Aggies have lost three of their last four games. After wins over Texas and Iowa State to start their Big 12 schedule, they haven't had an impressive victory.


8. Kansas


(14-7, 4-4)


The Jayhawks got some bad news this week when they lost their leading scorer to a torn ACL. KU is on a three-game winning streak but will fall from here with games against Nebraska and Texas this week.


9. Kansas State


(11-11, 3-5)


The Wildcats have lost five of their last six games and will struggle will stay above .500 for the rest of the season. To make things worse, the schedule only gets tougher for Kansas State..


10. Colorado


(12-9, 2-6)


As if losing four straight wasn't bad enough for the Buffaloes, games against Texas and Oklahoma this week make it even worse.


11. Texas Tech


(13-9, 1-7)


The Lady Raiders haven't won a game since January 12. They probably don't have a chance at winning another game until late February, when TTU welcomes Kansas to town.


12. Missouri


(11-11, 1-8)


The highlight of the season for the Tigers was an upset of Baylor at home. Missouri is last in the conference in scoring and field goal percentage.
