Get the starters on the court
The Huskers need to start a complete roster. Nebraska was able to walk away from Manhattan, Kan. unscathed and only dropped one game, but the Texas Longhorns are not Kansas State. They will jump all over NU faster than a kid who sees a Santa Claus at a department store.
If they start, Kayla Banwarth and Tara Mueller have to be mentally focused and can't dwell on the past. They need to use their experience as fire to fuel strong offensive and defensive efforts.
Keep up the energy
Nebraska hasn't lost on its home court in 75 matches and will need to keep its energy high if the team hopes to keep the streak alive.
Not to put any added pressure on the players, but a key ingredient in the team's surprising 9-0 start has been their energy.
It has been a factor in each of the Huskers' matches. Even when opponents have NU down, the Big Red fight back and break down opponents with their tenacity. The Huskers need to bring the heat with every serve, pass and offensive attack keep the Horns on their heels.
The girl from Utah
Sydney Anderson. As she faces one of the toughest and tallest blocking units in the nation, Anderson is going to have to put the ball on the mark every time she lays it up for a Nebraska hitter. Not only that, she's great at faking out defenders and placing the unexpected "setter dump" at a defender's feet. However, it could only take one bad set or bad block for the setter's confidence to be shaken, and Texas, with its intimidating line at the net will be sure to make their presence known.
