Another week, another accolade for Joe Ganz.

The Nebraska senior quarterback was named the Big 12 Conference's Offensive Player of the Week on Monday following a standout performance in the Cornhuskers' 56-28 win over Kansas State. Ganz passed for 270 yards and two touchdowns while also running for 95 yards and two more scores.

The honor is the second for Ganz, who also received it following Nebraska's win over the Wildcats in 2007. The Palos Heights, Ill., native is the fourth Husker to earn the conference award this season. Junior Ndamukong Suh received the defensive honor following NU's win over Kansas, while Niles Paul (San Jose State) and Nate Swift (Virginia Tech) both captured special teams honors.

Ganz's performance puts his season offensive yards total at 3,351 yards, a Nebraska record. He also set a new school mark for pass completions in a season against Kansas State and could break NU records for season and career touchdown passes before the year ends.
