Outside linebacker coach and special teams coordinator Jovan Dewitt will not work full-time during the spring practices due to throat cancer, according to the Associated Press.

In the article, head coach Scott Frost said Dewitt is "fighting a good fight right now” and his prognosis is good.

Dewitt was hired last year after two seasons coaching with Frost at the University of Central Florida.

Dewitt has been a college football coach for 19 years, including nine seasons as a defensive coordinator and five years as a special teams coordinator.
