TD Ameritrade chairman Joe Moglia has been named a life skills and leadership consultant for football for the NU Athletic Department.

Moglia will work under NU Associate Athletic Director Keith Zimmer in the Life Skills department and begin work at NU on July 29.

Moglia served as CEO for TD Ameritrade for eight years and also has a background in coaching. He coached for 16 years and was the defensive coordinator for Dartmouth from 1981 to 1983 before deciding to pursue a career in Wall Street.

"Joe is well-rounded in the financial world and has experience at the highest level on Wall Street, but he also has a real passion for football," NU Athletic Director Tom Osborne said in a statement. "With his background and track record, Joe could be leading any number of major corporations, but he wants to be here to learn how we operate and show how he can contribute."
