Two University of Nebraska-Lincoln soccer players received second-team All-Big Ten recognition.

Sinclaire Miramontez and Brenna Ochoa each received their recognition at a postseason soccer honors on Thursday, Oct. 31, according to an article by the University of Nebraska Athletic Communications.

Previously, Miramontez received first-team awards in 2017 and 2018 and had earned a spot on the MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List before the 2019 season, a spot given exclusively to the top collegiate soccer player, according to the article. She also made the Big Ten All-Freshman Team in 2016.

According to the article, Ochoa additionally was given the Nebraska’s Sportsmanship Award for 2019 and started all games in 2019.
