Nebraska picked up its second commitment of the weekend from four-star linebacker Keyshawn Greene.
The Florida native committed to the Huskers after an official visit this weekend. Greene originally committed to Florida State earlier in the recruiting cycle, but de-committed after head coach Willie Taggart was fired. He chose the Huskers over offers from Miami, Florida and Arkansas among others.
Greene is listed as an outside linebacker, but is expected to move to the inside for the Huskers which is a position of need. The Huskers currently have one other inside linebacker commit in JUCO prospect Eteva Mauga-Clements.
Greene’s commitment is the 17th of this cycle for the Huskers and boosts them up the recruitment rankings to No. 21, according to 247Sports.
This commitment won’t be the last for the Huskers as they push to shore up other positions of need before National Signing Day on Dec. 18.
