Senior left-handed pitcher Nate Fisher was named the Big Ten’s Co-Pitcher of the Week Monday afternoon, according to Huskers.com.
The senior left-handed pitcher earned the award after his fourth start of the season and win over Baylor. Fisher threw a career-high 8.0 no-hit innings along with six strikeouts against the Bears on Saturday, including a perfect 5.1 innings on the mound before allowing his only walk of the game.
He shares the award with Pauly Milto from Indiana. Fisher compiled a 7.24 ERA in 2018 and went 1-5 as a starting pitcher, but his ERA has improved to 3.15 this season.
