A University of Nebraska-Lincoln student was cited with third-degree domestic assault last week, according to the UNL Police Department Crime & Fire Log and Sgt. Nolan Conradt.
Over the week of Jan. 12-18, there were three reports of alcohol related crimes. Several crimes, including stolen bikes and non-domestic disturbances, occurred twice. There were a total of 21 incidents reported.
On Jan. 17, a UNL student reported a domestic assault in Schramm Hall, according to the crime log. Conradt said the case remains open, and one student was cited with third-degree domestic assault.
Two separate cases of check welfare were reported to UNLPD on Jan. 15, according to the crime log. The two cases are not related, according to Conradt, and he said one case has been closed.
On Jan. 16, UNLPD received a belated report from a student of a sexual assault that occurred off campus, according to the crime log. Conradt said the case was referred to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office.
UNLPD received a report of a possible larceny involving traffic signs on Jan. 18, according to the crime log. Conradt said the case remains open.
