When did theoretical future occurrences become history? I ask not because I'm complaining, but because it seems all I watch on networks like the History Channel and Discovery anymore are shows designed to get me thinking about any number of apocalyptic scenarios. I guess "Shark Week" only works once a year, and despite the abundance of footage, viewers can only stand so many shows about World War II before searching for something a little less played out.
