Student government officials will have a runoff election next Tuesday in order to select next year's student government president and internal vice president. Unofficial results for the election of the Association of Students of the University of Nebraska showed there wasn't a clear winner for the two top posts. Presidential candidates and internal vice presidential candidates run together on the ballot. A package of two candidates needed to win by at least 10 percent more of the vote than its closest competitor, and 2,816 students voted this year, meaning the presidential candidates needed to win by 282.
