In 1994, after years of racial tension, the country of Rwanda erupted into a sea of violence and bloody genocide. Some of the intended victims, however, did manage to survive, and, in a great paradox that is often the result of such events in history, their stories of survival and perseverance are as inspiring as their experiences are horrifying.
