In a face off of two top-five teams, the No. 4 Nebraska Volleyball team took to the court to face off against No. 5 Minnesota at the Bob Devaney Center on Friday, Feb. 19 and Sunday, Feb. 21, 2021, in Lincoln, Nebraska. In the first match of the series on Friday, Minnesota came out swinging, taking the first set. After a Nebraska comeback to win set two, the Golden Gophers charged on and handed Nebraska a 3-1 loss -- the first loss of the season for the Cornhuskers. The two teams returned to the court Sunday morning to conclude the series. Nebraska took to the court looking for revenge and got their way, sweeping Minnesota 3-0 in dominant fashion and handing the Golden Gophers their first loss of the season. Nebraska moves on with a 7-1 record and will face off against No. 1 Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin on Friday, Feb. 26.
