The Nebraska Cornhuskers (3-9) fell to the No. 16 Iowa Hawkeyes (10-2) after a hard-fought battle 28-21. Despite the absence of quarterback Adrian Martinez, the Huskers, led by freshman Logan Smothers, jumped to a 21-6 lead in the third quarter, but couldn't keep it up and gave up 22 unanswered points in their season closer at Memorial Stadium.
