After a disappointing 70-78 overtime loss to Michigan State to end 2019, the Nebraska women's basketball team started off the new decade strong with a 72-58 victory over Minnesota. Led by a strong performance by Junior Center Kate Cain, scoring 19 points and grabbing 15 rebounds, the Huskers were able to hand the 24th ranked Gophers their third loss of the year and improve their record to 12-2 on the season. The Huskers continue their Big Ten conference play at home against Wisconsin on Thursday, Jan. 9.
