On a night that quickly turned into the unexpected, the Nebraska men's basketball team took to the court to face off against Indiana in the first round of the Big Ten tournament. The Huskers fell in a blowout loss 89-64. Near the end of the contest, Nebraska football quarterback Noah Vedral and offensive lineman Brant Banks entered the game after being last-minute additions to the roster before the conference tournament. In the final minutes of the match, Nebraska head coach Fred Hoiberg had to leave the court after facing medical issues and was rushed to the hospital, where he was released from later on that night.
