After 37 years of business, local fast food restaurant Amigos will close its 14th and Q streets location on Friday, Dec. 13, the Lincoln Journal Star announced Wednesday afternoon.
“It’s always a difficult decision to close a store, especially one that’s been a part of our company for so many years," Amigos CEO Roger Moore said in the article.
The fast food restaurant will be the second of its older locations to close, leaving 14 Lincoln locations open.
According to Moore, no employees will lose their jobs but instead relocate.
“Being in the restaurant industry, staffing continues to be a concern, so we look forward to utilizing all of the 14th and Q staff in other locations," Moore said in the article. "No one will lose a job because of this closing."
The building will be for sale after the doors close Friday, Dec. 13.
