2:00- The Husker team will be without the services of Brandon Browne in today's match with Iowa State. The senior's mother died Friday. Sophomore Alex Ward will take his place at 174-pounds. The dual started at 133 with Matt Vacanti. Nebraska is open at 125-pounds resulting in a forfeit.  2:25- Vacanti had a 1-0 lead in the second but Nick Fanthorpe used a series of takedowns to build a big lead and took an 11-3 major decision. Senior Patrick Aleksanyan took the place of Curtis Salazar at 141-pounds. He fell behind quickly but fought back to minimize the damage and avoid the techincal fall. Aleksanyan lost 11-1. 3:50- Maryland has a couple Nebraska ties going into today's match. Two assistants for the team Jason Powell, and Todd Beckerman wrestled for the Huskers. Both were All-Americans at Nebraska. Powell even won the National Championship with Nebraska at 125 pounds. The match to watch in the second half of the dual double-header is at 197 pounds.
