2:33 pm: The senior day introductions are over and the teams have taken the field. Nebraska will receive to start the first half, giving a Zac Lee-led offense a chance to impress early. It's overcast with temperatures in the low-50s. 2:45 pm: Say hello to the offense. Nebraska had a huge kick return by Tim Marlowe followed by a 58-yard drive that lasted just a few minutes. Zac Lee fumbled it inside the KU five-yard-line, but running back Roy Helu jumped on it in the endzone for a touchdown. NEBRASKA 7 KANSAS 0 3:05 pm: Both teams have been stagnate since the opening drive by Nebraska. The Husker offense is showing signs of being efficient again, but KU comes up on third down when they need to....Game Nine: Oklahoma

6:55 p.m. - Memorial Stadium filled up quicker than usual tonight. It has looked completely filled for about 20 minutes now. Band is on the field now with just under 15 minutes until kickoff. 7:02 p.m. - Fans showing more energy already through pre-game activities than they have in the last two home games. Nebraska will have them cheering not booing early. The tunnel walk video added new beginning to it. The fans ate it up. 7:10 p.m. - Ndamukong Suh, Alex Henery, Matt O'Hanlon and Ricky Henry are captains for Nebraska. OU won the toss, and the Husker offense will be on the field first. 7:15 p.m. - Cody Green is starting for Nebraska, and the first two plays were short runs on zone reads. 11:50- Rough start for Nebraska as running back Roy Helu Jr. puts the ball on the ground and Iowa State recovered. The Cyclones didn't advance for a first down but did manage a 52-yard field goal. ISU 3 Nebraska 0. 12:10- After trading punts, Nebraska takes advantage of good field position and true freshman Dontrayevous Robinson runs in for his first career score. The coaching staff elected to burn Robinson's redshirt last week against Tech. He appears to be the No. 2 backup behind Helu. Nebraska 7 ISU 3. 12:30- A promising drive by Nebraska is halted on a Zac Lee interception. The ball appeared to be caught by tight end Mike McNeill but bounced and stayed in the air for an Iowa State defender to catch it. 2:35- Nebraska kicks off and the Texas Tech Red Raider offense will start at the 20. Check back here for periodic updates and analysis. After a week of intrigue it will be Steven Sheffield starting at quarterback for Texas Tech. 2:40- The Tech offense wastes no time using three big pass plays to push across the game's first score. Nebraska failed to utilize good field position going three and out on the offense's first possession. Texas Tech 7 Nebraska 0. 3:00- The crowd here is completely silent. A pass thought to be dropped by Niles Paul was scooped up by a Red Raider defender and taken 82 yards to the end zone. Replay review held up the fumble. After a long weekend following Thursday night’s stunning 27-12 win at Missouri, Nebraska returned to the practice field Monday afternoon at turned its attention to Texas Tech. NU coach Bo Pelini said he was grateful for the extra days off, which gave players a chance to rest and coaches a chance to review film of the MU game and begin preparations for the Red Raiders. “It was good,” he said. “They got their legs underneath them, we got some bumps and bruises healed and we had good tempo today.” Last year, NU entered its game with Tech following a 52-17 blowout at the hands of the Tigers and responded with a near-upset of the Red Raiders. Though the scenario is a bit different this year, Pelini expects the same approach entering Saturday’s game. ...
