Here's a pdf copy of our philanthropic form, or you can use the on-line version below. If you are raising funds for a non-profit organization for use in their philanthropic endeavors, you can receive an advertising discount upon approval by the Assistant Advertising Manager. For every $1 you spend in promoting the event, we will match it with $2. Good upon approval, and is accepted for display, classified, inserts, web, or other expenditures with the Daily Nebraskan.

Classified advertising

Classified ads, sometimes known as word ads, are sold at $9 for the first 15 words, and each word is only 15 cents thereafter. Discounts begin with the second run. Use this handy order form faxed back to (402) 472-1761 or use the online classified order form. Call (402) 472-2589, fax to (402) 472-1761, or email to dn@unl.edu before 4 p.m. for next day's publication.

Web rates

The fact that you're reading this counts as an impression. We sell banners at $9 per thousand impressions. We've averaged 87,000 impressions per month over the last 12 months, which includes an average of almost 24,000 unique viewers each month. Choose from 468x60 banners, 728x90 banners, 300x250 box or 160x600 sky scraper. We can help design your web ads.

E-mail notifications

Banners for $20 a day for a 468x60 banner, available on our e-mail notification list for first come, first served. Approximately 2,500 receive these daily updates when classes are in session.

Big Screen TV and Posters

Big Screen TV & Posters. Be seen in the Student Union, busiest building on campus. Call us for details as there are some house conditions of what products and services can be advertised. Posters are $400 a month plus $20 for artwork for a 19 x 32 inch poster. You can change posters as often as you want to pay the $20 setup fee. TV ads can be still ads or commercial videos as the TV promotes our web page and campus activities.
